Cleckheaton Methodist Church is a thriving, vibrant and welcoming Town Centre Church which is open most days for various church run activities.

Sunday 10.30am to 11.30am – Worship – attended by 60 to 70 people with a lively Sunday Club for children and young people. Tea, coffee and squash are served after the service and all are welcome.

Cleckheaton's Activities
Snooker-Tuesday 6.00pm to 9.00pm – open to all not only to play but to socialise and offer mutual support.
Lunch-Wednesday 11.00am to 2.00pm – this has been running over 35 years and continues to grow, providing food, company and entertainment to older people in the community.
Breakfast Club – Thursday 9.00am to 11.00am – this is open in the school holidays offering informal children's activities and a short act of Worship.
Coffee and Biscuits -Friday 10.00am to 11.30am – this has many new people joining in from the community for people to chat, listen or just be with other people. 
Snooker-Friday 1.00pm to 4.00pm
Table Tennis -Friday 7.30pm to 9.00pm – open to all to play or watch.
Meeting Place -Saturday 11.00am to 2.00pm – this on the third Saturday of the month and is a recent, very popular initiative providing a space for people to gather for refreshments, company and activities including jigsaws and table tennis.

Each of these activities are well received by the local community. We have formed new relationships and appreciate these opportunities to show God's welcome and love to our neighbours. We do not charge for refreshments, asking only for donations from those who can afford it, so that nobody should feel excluded.

We hold a monthly Friday morning prayer meeting and, during Advent and Lent, we meet for fellowship and bible study.

We have an awareness of the level of need in our community and we are an Acts 435 Partner. Church volunteers have helped over 100 families locally in the last 12 months with the provision of white goods, flooring, furniture, food vouchers and help with utility bills.
