Minister: Rev. Nick Cutts

The foundation Stone was laid 21 September 1859 by the President of the Methodist Conference, Rev. Samuel Dousland Waddy.

The official opening was 12 July 1861 by the Rev. B. McDonald and the Ven Rev. Dr. James Dixon of Bradford.
The first organ was built by Mr. Booth of Wakefield costing £500 with £71 for the magnificent painted and gilded case.
Since then the organ has been replaced with an organ built by J. J. Binns of Bramley. Which was dedicated to the men of the church who gave their lives in the First World War.
On its completion Mr. Binns sent a letter to the church trustees saying; "We have done our best to give you an organ second to none in England for is size". The organ has been maintained and upgraded to meet the highest modern standards.
The church is built of Hammer-dressed stone, ashlar dressings, Welsh blue-slate roof.

Interior: unaltered and finely-furnished with apsidal ended gallery, box pews, ornate panelled and turned pulpit, table and rails with organ loft behind containing a Binns Organ of 1920/21. Stained glass windows c1901. Originally there was seating for 1,000.

Each week a Sunday service is held at 10.30 am.
We also have Vineyard and St Mary's churches worship in our building
