Westborough is 150 years old
We would like to share the wonderful success of our 150th anniversary celebrations held this April.  We decided to celebrate this  significant milestone, because as a church with 14 members, mostly elderly, our future is uncertain.

The open day on Saturday we saw a continuous stream of approximately 200 visitors who enjoyed the presentations and refreshments. On Sunday, the Circuit service led by Rev. Marian Olsen was truly overwhelming; the church was filled to capacity with over 230 people in attendance, including many from across the Circuit.

It was particularly moving to welcome those with deep historical connections to the church. Attendees included a couple married at Westborough 60 years ago who sat in their original family pew, and a former Queen’s Scout who found his name on the Scout Awards Board still displayed in the building.

Thank you to everyone who made this landmark anniversary so memorable.
