Aire & Calder Circuit are seeking to appoint a part-time Host & Welcome Officer, to be the primary point of contact at Twenty 7, our pioneering new community space.
Are you someone who:

• has an instinct for hospitality and welcome?
• wants to be part of a pioneering new community space in the heart of Pontefract?
• is aligned with the mission and values of the Methodist Church?

If the answer is yes, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re looking for someone who can be the friendly face of our new community drop-in centre at Twenty 7, (27 Market Place), Pontefract. You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors, offering a warm welcome, a listening ear, and simple hospitality in line with the mission and values of the Methodist Church in this New Place for New People.
Two year Fixed Term Contract with the potential of extension, subject to review and funding.
Hours: 16.5 hours per week, ideally worked between 9:30am and 3:00pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. There may occasionally be the need to work on an evening or weekend, in agreement with your Line Manager.

Calderdale Circuit are seeking to appoint a part-time Church Mission and Outreach Enabler to work as part of the Circuit Team. This would suit someone with a vibrant Christian faith to make a real difference to the lives of those in Brighouse and the surrounding areas. The person appointed will be primarily based at Brighouse Central Methodist Church but will also support other churches in the Lower Valley Cluster (which includes Clifton Methodist Church and Christ Church at Hipperholme), as well as the wider Circuit.
This is a permanent contract.
Hours: 25 hours per week worked flexibly, Sunday to Saturday, in agreement with the Line Manager, which will include some evening working.

Airedale Methodist Circuit is seeking to appoint three part time Mission Project Pioneers to oversee and lead projects to discern and develop new mission centres. They will work in partnership with the existing church communities and local communities, to develop new initiatives which include spiritual discipleship, community engagement and the creation of spaces where questions of faith can be asked. These are new posts and one Mission Project Pioneer will be based at each of the following locations:

• Bingley Methodist Church (BD16 4JU)
• Lees Methodist Church (BD22 9DL)
• St. Peter’s Methodist Church, Cross Hills (BD20 8TF)

Fixed Term until 31st December 2028
Hours: 16 hours per week, worked flexibly in agreement with the Line Manager, which will include some evenings. Actual days, start and finish times will be variable in accordance with the needs of the Employer. The days of the week on which you may be required to work are Monday to Sunday.
