Lindley Methodist Church, Huddersfield are seeking a part-time role of Children and Families Mission Enabler. Do you have a passion for nurturing children and families in the life of the church? Can you buy into their ‘Open to Jesus, Open to People’ vision? The friendly, inclusive Methodist Church in Lindley is recruiting to strengthen and grow our missional activities by: working with them to identify and develop innovative new opportunities to engage with children and families in our local community and support their faith journeys; helping children and families explore the Christian faith in creative and dynamic ways;  encouraging and inspiring our church family to get involved in children and families’ mission.

Contract: 1 year fixed term
Hours: 22.5 hours per week, with core hours of 10:15 to 12:15 on Sundays to lead Junior Church. The remaining hours can be worked flexibly over four to five days, Monday to Sunday, in agreement with your Line Manager, and will include teatime, evening and weekend work.

Lindley Methodist Church, Huddersfield are seeking a part-time role of Parent and Toddler Group Leader. You’ll work to ensure the continued success of our thriving Parent and Toddler Group which serves the Lindley community. You’ll be required to run the weekly Parent and Toddler Group alongside two church volunteers on Monday mornings during term time, ensuring that parents and toddlers engaging with the weekly session have a positive, safe and enjoyable experience.

Contract: 1 year fixed term with the potential to extend, subject to review and funding.
Hours: 3 hours per week worked between 8:45 am and 11:45 am on Mondays during term time (39 weeks of the year).
Closing: Friday 25th September 2026 at 12 noon
